DRAWING IN PERSPECTIVE
Catalog #B091
Learn to apply 1 and 2 point perspective to your drawings and have the fun of bringing those charming barns, buildings, and interiors you enjoy seeing around you spring to life on your paper. A sound grasp of how the vanishing point works to give your drawings the depth you experience in life on a two-dimensional surface is the goal of this session. The use of light and dark, modeling in shades of grey, and applying the basic principles of foreground, middle ground, and background to create forms in space, are skills you will see not only in the drawings and sketches you take away with you, but in the artwork you can continue developing on your own.
Materials to bring include a drawing pad, a range of pencils (2B up to 8B). Graphite pencils drawing sticks, and charcoal are optional. The Dairy Barn will lend some of these drawing materials on a first come, first serve basis.
