#A171 Watercolor – An Extended Exploration

Description:
For adults and teens age 16 and older. This class is suitable for all levels, no prior experience necessary.

Join artist Krystina Maixner for a series of classes expanding upon the basics of watercolor painting. In these sessions, you will learn and explore different techniques for utilizing this beautiful medium. This five-week program will begin by practicing basic brushstrokes while utilizing different methods to create various styles and details. As the program moves along, you will have the opportunity to paint a still life, explore washes by painting skies, and develop confidence by painting in a timed manner. At the end of this class, you will have a collection of paintings demonstrating your new skills and deeper understanding of the medium to bring to your future paintings.

The materials fee for this course provides each student with a set of watercolor paints and paper for use in the class and will be theirs to keep. All other materials will be provided.
