Class Description:

For adults and teens age 16 and older

Clay is fabulously versatile and can facilitate all kinds of self-expression. This class serves as a great introduction to the material. The techniques demonstrated are flexible for students interested in either (or both!) functional and sculptural forms. This eight-week class features instructor demonstrations, hands-on learning and available Open Studio time outside of regular scheduled classes. Students will learn how to pinch, coil and slab-build forms with emphasis on establishing solid construction skills. The last two classes will be devoted to enriching surfaces with glazes, underglazes and engobes.

All tools and materials needed for this class are included.

This class is currently full. Please fill out the Classes/Workshops Waitlist below and The Dairy Barn will contact you with updates. Thank you!
