"Pressless Printing: Monoprints Using A Gelli Plate and Other Techniques"
Gelli Plates are a fabulous tool in any artist’s arsenal. A gelli plate is thin piece of manufactured gell that can be used to make mono prints of every kind. Printing with acrylic paint and ink creates different images than directly painting on paper does. Layers of color can be built up over time with this printing technique by printing a page over and over, letting the paint dry in between.
