Summer 2017 is officially a summer of quilts in Athens! Between the 20th biennial Quilt National at The Dairy Barn Arts Center, a collection of Depression-era quilts at the Southeast Ohio History Center, a display of Elizabeth Brandt's quilts at the Zanesville Museum of Art and the first ever "Crazy Quilt Crawl," it will be almost impossible to not take in the beauty of contemporary fiber arts in Athens this summer.

June Happy Hour: The View From Below
Take a dive into your imagination as you create a beautiful underwater scene. Perhaps in your sea swim some peaceful sea turtles, or maybe you have sharks looming in the shallows. Who knows, maybe your underwater world is populated by mermaids! Whimsical and so easy, this Happy Hour Art Project is sure to be a "deep" experience!
Cost: $25.00 per person
Advance registration is required. Call the Barn at (740)-592-4981 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make sure spaces are available and to be put on the registration list. In your email or phone call, please include your name, number, email address and how many people in your party. Payment can be made at the event.
Note: we use acrylic paints with do stain clothing. Please wear clothing that can get dirty, and or a smock!
