From Feedsack to Shopping Bag

Making items from farm feed bags has been a tradition since cloth bags were first produced during the mid 1800’s. Basic machine sewing can turn today’s recycled plastic farm feed bag into a shopping/storage bag.   They are also great bags for library books, overnight trips, children’s toys, quilting rulers, beach clothing, and much more.  Each participant will receive a free bag to make in class and can leave the workshop with more to make these fun bags at home or in our Open Studio!  Bags are supplied by the Will-0-Wood Sheep Farm, Athens, OH.
