#B311 Fabric Design: Surface Pattern

Instructor: Angela Sprunger

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Day: Saturdays

Dates: February 19 & 26

Description:

This workshop will introduce students to the basics of dying and pattern design on fabric to create unique, one-of-a-kind textiles. RIT® dyes, stencils, and fabric cyanotypes will be used for both color and pattern. This class includes a short lecture, demonstration, and plenty of hands-on making time. Materials are provided, you will have 4 yards of white cotton muslin to work with and are encouraged to bring any additional cotton fabrics for ideas you want to test. This is great opportunity to re-fresh your plain fabric stock for new projects!
