Exhibitor Info :: Exhibitions
The exhibition programming at The Dairy Barn Arts Center aims to nurture and promote contemporary artists from our local region as well as artists from across the United States and beyond. The Sauber Gallery, on the main floor of our facility, features four main exhibitions each year that draw over 8,000 gallery patrons from all over the world. We are most recognized for our biennial juried exhibitions: Athens Voices and OH+5, which alternate in the winter sessions, and Quilt National and Bead International, which alternate in the summer sessions. In addition to juried exhibitions, we also organize and produce curated and invitational exhibitions. Our two most notable exhibitions, Quilt National and Bead International, tour to host venues across the country for two years following their close at The Dairy Barn Arts Center. In addition to our main gallery exhibitions, we have opportunities for emerging artists to show small bodies of work in the upstairs space of our facility. Proposals for this space are accepted on a rolling basis. We also accept proposals for touring exhibits on a rolling basis. Those seeking volunteer opportunities in art handling and exhibition installation are encouraged to call and speak with the Exhibition Director.
