#A191 Pottery I: Intro to Wheel Throwing

Class Description:

For adults and teens age 16 and older.

This class is a great opportunity to start your journey into functional ceramics. The potter’s wheel is a useful tool with a long history. In this class you will learn all the fundamentals of throwing pottery, from preparing the clay to glazing the surface. Demonstrations include cylinders, mugs, handles, bowls and trimming. Available Open Studio time outside of regular scheduled classes, assures that you will have plenty of time to practice your new skills.

Materials Fee provides students a tool kit with all the essentials for wheel-throwing that is theirs to keep. All other materials are included.
