Fluidity with Patterns and Shapes: Ceramic Skill-Building Series Workshop

August 3, 2018

Dallas Wooten will facilitate this dynamic workshop focused on surface, pattern, and design. Students will learn how to make and use tar-paper stencils and layout tools to create beautiful, diverse surfaces. The versatility of this skill can be used with many applications; carving, mishima, sgraffito and glazing, just to name a few.  By layering shapes and breaking up surfaces, simple or complex patterns can be created. Participants will be provided with pre-made tiles and cups on which to try out their designs.

To register, email lyn@dairybarn.org ($8.00 for Members/$10.00 for Non-members, includes all materials).

Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
