Making and Using Hump Molds: Ceramic Skill-Building Workshop Series
September 7, 2018
Teaching Artist, Dallas Wooten, will share information and techniques for making and using bisque molds. Bisque molds are created from clay and fired to bisque temperature. These useful tools allow a maker to create unique and varied shapes, all with the added feature of being easily duplicated. (Think outside the circle!) Bisque molds, unlike many other molds, can be formed by hand easily and organically with materials available in any clay studio. During this workshop, students will make two bisque molds of their own, learn how to use them effectively and leave with knowledge to make many more in the future. Previous ceramic experience is useful but not necessary.
To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org ($8.00 for Members/$10.00 for Non-members, includes all materials).
Friday, September 7, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
