Created from those marvelous special threads,  yarns, and ribbons that you have collected or have left over from other projects.  This drapey textile scarf is a real show stopper.  The process has a little bit of a secret.  Made by sewing yarns and ribbons into a special backing material to fix them in place, then washing the scarf to dissolve away the backing material leaving you a scarf seemingly held together by magic It will be great addition to your wardrobe or a wonderful gift.  Come join this fun class and create a scarf in your own colors.

Participants will need to provide their own yarns, ribbons, and threads for the scarf (35-60 pieces of 1.5 yard lengths)

The class fee includes use of the textile studio sewing machines and equipment, step-by-step instruction, great times with fellow students, and enough specialty backing for one scarf.  Additional backing may be purchased from instructor.

The picture of the gold/orange scarf with 55 pieces that includes several different yarns, perle cotton threads, heavyweight decor thread, and 1/8″ wide ribbons.
