About this class:
This class is for beginners-intermediate; anyone who has an interest in photography, and wants to learn the modern techniques to elevate your digital works. In this class we will go over the basics of the program, from RAW file conversion, to complicated artistic edits. Everything from just taking your 8 out of 10 photo up to a 10, to removing distracting elements, or changing the overall color of a photo will all be covered in this class.
Bring a computer or your notebook to this class! We will be editing live in class to the technique we discuss, you are encouraged to bring your own photos to try these techniques on along with the instructor.
This class is will be related to the Learning Photography class, but both do not need to be taken to get a full experience.
Participants will receive a flash drive pre-loaded by the instructor with images and to work on in class and other helpful information.
About the software:
For this class, you will need to have Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom CC on you computer. (Photoshop Elements will be okay to us in class but will not give you full access to all the tools.) If you have a non-cloud older version of Photoshop that will be fine. If it has been a few years since you have used Photoshop, or updated your software, you might not know that you can now purchase subscriptions to Photoshop. Unlike the days of buying a license and a CD to download, you download of the net and your version s always up to date. For your convenience here is a link to Photoshop’s web page.
