About this class:
Teapots are fun and complex ceramic forms. This class will include several demonstrations of ways to make spouts, handles, bodies and lids. Participants will learn techniques for multi-part construction, as well as considerations for functional forms. This class is best suited for those who have some previous wheel-throwing experience and feel comfortable centering and pulling up walls. Available Open Studio time outside of regular scheduled classes, assures that you will have plenty of time to practice your new skills. If you have any questions about the content of this class, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As with all our Ceramics Studio classes, currently enrolled students have access to the ceramics studio during open studio hours and for the 8 week of class have no limits on materials.
