For anyone longing to begin working with a sewing machine, but slightly terrified with all the choices – This Is The Class For YOU! Do you have a sewing machine that you are hesitant to take out of the box? This Class Is For YOU!
In six weekly class sessions, you will learn important sewing room safety, how to thread a machine and some basic machine maintenance as well as creating several straight stitch projects. Tools, techniques, tips, and usage of specific sewing machine feet will be introduced and used to create a lanyard, key fob, drawstring bag, standard pillowcase, and 4-patch hot pad.
Come join other newbies as we laugh, learn, and develop friendships over a shared curiosity of the great invention that lets us join fabrics together.
This is an all-inclusive class and all you need to bring is yourself! Should you prefer to construct any of the projects from your own fabrics, you may contact the instructor for a material list, after registering.
