The process has a little bit of a secret. Made by sewing yarns and ribbons into a special backing material to fix them in place, then washing the scarf to dissolve away the backing material leaving you a scarf seemingly held together by magic It will be great addition to your wardrobe or a wonderful gift. Come join this fun class and create a scarf in your own colors.
Participants will need to provide their own yarns, ribbons, and threads for the scarf (35-60 pieces of 1.5 yard lengths)
The class fee includes use of the textile studio sewing machines and equipment, step-by-step instruction, great times with fellow students, and enough specialty backing for one scarf. Additional backing may be purchased from instructor. participants may also purchase a glass of wine or beer to add extra holiday cheer to their making experience.
