Danette Pratt enjoyed a professional career as a Biological Illustrator and Graphic Artist. Busy in her retirement, she pursues personal work in fiber, eco dyed fabrics, embroidery and applique techniques; designing art dolls and experimenting with analog photography and image transfer techniques. Still drawing and using fabric, paper collage, and needle work in her current body of work, she is a self-taught naturalist that enjoys walks, working outside and living at her country studio in Athens County, Southeastern Ohio.
