Matthew Presutti is a print and paper artist from southeastern Ohio.
The region’s rich history of social activism and the beauty of its forgotten landscape are the driving forces behind his artistic practice and research into sustainable studio methods.
Presutti received his BFA from Ohio University in 2006 and an MFA in printmaking from the University of South Dakota in 2013. He currently lives in Athens, Ohio and teaches a wide variety of printmaking processes for the School of Art + Design at Ohio University.
Presutti has spent the last five years making paper with locally produced fibers for the purposes of printing and most recently started the Ohio University Fiber and Dye Garden Experiment.
