Moss Nash- Dairy Barn Teaching Artist

Moss Nash is a printmaker, papermaker, and multimedia artist based in Athens, Ohio. They have been drawing and working with fibers since childhood and discovered printmaking in high school. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University with a focus on Printmaking and Sculpture + Expanded practice. They continued to live in Athens after graduating and are involved in the local art and music community.

Their work features bright colors, hand-drawn images and text, and found or reused materials. They enjoy creating work inspired by fresh produce, local environments and landscapes, and personal identity. Moss primarily works with screenprint, but after working at Paper Circle in Nelsonville, Ohio for 10 months, handmade paper has become a much larger part of their creative practice. They also have experience with relief printing, zine making, and hand and machine sewing, mending, and quilting.

In their free time, they can be found gardening, hosting events, cooking and baking, eating fresh fruit, and dancing.  To find more information about Moss and their work, visit them on Instagram @no.free.snacks or their website, nofreesnacks.com
