Color and creativity come together, yet again, in this exciting workshop designed for young artists aged 8-12. 

This kids’ watercolor workshop expands on previous lessons, instructed by teaching-artist Jean Vandervaart, by introducing the technique of negative (space) painting to achieve unique Cryptid and Spirit-themed works of art. 

Negative painting is a method in which the background is painted dark, allowing the lighter color to appear as the design or “positive” shape.  

Whether a budding artist or someone who just loves to get creative, this class offers a supportive and inspiring environment for all skill levels. We invite kids to expand their imagination with watercolor!  Supplies/materials are included with registration.
