Celebrate Youth in the Arts

FREE COMMUNITY ART EVENT!    March 8th, 5-7 PM. The Wizard Walk is a growing community arts tradition where youth lead the way, transforming imagination into a shared celebration of art and community.

The Wizard Walk is distinct from the fall Witch Walkwhich takes place primarily indoors and emphasizes costume, performance, and celebration. The evening centers on a costume party atmosphere, with youth performances by students from Trimble High School in the galleries and from the Band Sub Zero from Stuart’s Opera House After School Music Program in the loft. Hocking College Film & Video Production will also be on site, building a music video of around Sub Zero’s performance.

Artwork from the Myth Makers Guild will activate the Community Room next to the lobby, where students’ illustrated characters and stories will be projected onto the walls, surrounding visitors with youth-created worlds and narratives. The event will also welcome community partners, including Rural Action’s Education Department and Passion Works Studio, expanding the Wizard Walk into a shared celebration of creativity, inclusion, and collaboration. A costume contest and piñata may also be part of the evening, reinforcing the Wizard Walk as a playful, high-energy gathering that invites the community to dress up, connect, and experience the creative leadership of young artists.

Thanks to the generous support of The Magic Martha Fund.
